Dale Sakschewski was raised in Paradise, California and graduated from Paradise High School in 1980. He started work as a local carpenter and in 1984 moved to the Bay area working on large restoration projects. Dale completed a three year apprenticeship program through the Carpenters Union and completed a separate three year apprenticeship program through the Painters and Tapers Union. He led and managed crews from 6 to 12 workers. In 1989, Dale completed the California state exam for his Class B general contractor license. In 1991, Dale and his family moved back to Paradise, where he continues his business as a General Contractor.
From 1997-2007, Dale volunteered countless hours with the YoungLife International Organization as Acting Area Director for the Paradise region. During that time he was involved and interacted with many aspects of the local and surrounding communities. Dale is a member of the local Homebrew Club and has been a homebrewer himself since 2009.
In January 2014, Dale started as Assistant Brewmaster at a local brewery and continues as one of the brewmasters there today. In the first four years the brewery grew from two to eight employees and went through two large expansions. Because of his contracting experience, he had a huge part in the construction and assembling of all of the new brewing equipment. Dale has continued his education in brewing by attending the week-long international Craft Brewers Conference three different times.
Dale’s hobbies include camping, backpacking, fishing, skiing, playing music, traveling, homebrewing and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
